What is a Demand Survey

To evaluate and determine the viability of any proposed housing project or scheme, AFWO periodically conducts demand surveys. The main purpose of the demand surveys is to assess whether it would be feasible to start a new project given the availability of land or any planned projects by builders or other parties.

The main goal of this is to protect and promote the interests of its members by making sure they have access to quality housing options at fair costs and with a clear legal status.

Additionally, the Demand Survey determines how many employees are interested in purchasing a home at the suggested location, which is a crucial requirement for the proposed scheme’s feasibility. Actually, doing this is the first stage before starting a new housing project or initiative. Every desired aspect of a housing project is considered with care and vision, including location, ease of access to the city, and availability of public utilities such as schools, hospitals, and markets. The planned scheme’s surrounding development is also taken into account, as it plays a significant role in the project’s potential appreciation in value.

Participants in the Demand Survey get priority over those who apply after the Demand Survey closes if sufficient demand is identified following the completion of the survey and the project or plan is launched. The first-come, first-served policy applies to the housing units offered to the participants.

Members of AFWO are alerted of the demand survey via mail and other channels, as well as on the organization’s website. If someone wants to take part in the Demand Survey, they must fill out the application and pay a commitment fee that is refundable.
